D1+E Minibus Training With Trailer
If you do not have a D1 category driving license, then you will need to completed minibus training with trailer to drive a larger vehicle safely and legally. The reason you may need extra training for driving a minibus that includes a trailer is because you will be responsible for several passengers. For this reason, you will need to know how to safely manoeuvre your vehicle.
With help from our approved DVSA instructors, you can obtain a D1+E license that allows you to drive a minibus that has a trailer attached to it. You will be able to gain a number of skills when undertaking a course with Pure Driving. However, the following is required before you start training:
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Held a driving licence for at least two years
- You’re driving for social purposes under a non-commercial body
- You meet ‘group 2 medical standards’ if over the age of 70
