Trailer Training in Rugby
Unfortunately, a standard uk driving licence is no longer acceptable for larger vehicles and trailers. We offer DVSA approved trailer training in Rugby to help drivers gain additional categories on their existing driving licences.
B+E Training Courses
The B+E training in Rugby is designed to help drivers gain additional licence categories, allowing them to drive larger and heavier vehicles legally. If you gained your full UK driving licence before January 1997, you will already hold a B+E category and there is no need for additional training.
If you gained your driving licence after January 1997, you will need to complete a trailer training course in Rugby to gain the B+E category. You can see the course packages that we have available below.
C1 Training and C1+E Courses
Just like the B+E course, the C1 training in Rugby, once complete enables the driver to drive a vehicle that weighs no more than 7500kg. A standard licence allows drivers to drive vehicles with a maximum weight of 3500kg. If you need to drive a vehicle that has a weight between 3500kg-7500kg you will need to complete the required C1 training course in Rugby.
"Dave is a great teacher. I took a trailer training course and passed first time with no issues. I would thoroughly recommend him and Pure Driving."
